This album starts out on 10 and never lets off. The riffs, drumming and vocals are all great. I really can't speak more highly of this EP, I would consider it a must have for any sludge/doom metal fan!

Some may say the riffage is "relentless" and suggest that every song was "an epic that rolls like sinister thunder across the land". I find Merchant an underrated band that hopefully will one day have as much recognition as others.

Their whole discography is great but I keep coming back to this album. I've been listening to this one daily. I bought the LP and don't even have a record player! The guitars remind me of burning logs on a bonfire (fuzzy, crackling and warm) and Dorthia's vocals reverberate like a haunted ghost. Windhand 'effing' rules!
